Content of the book that our Bulgarian partner produced. The title of the section about our project is: The competence orientation and the learning outcoms (HE_LEO) - pp. 108-119. At the end of the book, among the appendices are: the European Qualification Framework (in Bulgarian) and the verbs used in defining the learning outcomes, from the Gosling & Moon's brochure (translated in Bulgarian, too). The purpose of the book was to present the global trends, the European developments, the national legislation, regulations, current HE policy and the institutional (South-West University) context - regulations, codes, practices, procedures, documentation, etc., as well as the current priorities (like quality framework). So, the idea of the book is to present notonly the present developments and prorities, but also the past and the tradition which the university should preserved and be proud of... The book was (and still is) distributed - free of charge - to deans, heads of departments, administrators, and anyone involved in organizations of studies. It's very valuable because is rich in reference data - laws, regulations, norms, instructional documents, and other information (comprising of almost everything one should take in consideration when organizing studies at the university - at every level and any aspect)...
